Wilderness Ranch is a residential subdivision located in the Boise, Idaho area. It is situated in the scenic foothills of the Boise National Forest, offering residents a unique blend of natural beauty and suburban living. There are 273 lots that make up roughly 1,200 acres. The Wilderness Ranch Owners Association owns an additional 800 acres of common land. 13 additional lots are accessible via our road network but are not a part of WROA.

Just south of Wilderness Ranch on Robie Creek Road is where you'll find the facility. Eight tanks or reservoirs dispersed across the subdivision are supplied with treated water via pumps. Water is supplied to lots by gravity from these tanks
While Wilderness Ranch provides a tranquil setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is still within a reasonable distance of downtown Boise and its amenities, and Idaho City. As the eagles soar, Wilderness Ranch is located about 12 miles northeast of Boise and 24 miles along Highway 21 in the direction of Idaho City. Boise County, where Wilderness Ranch is situated, has Idaho City as its county seat.
Idaho City's Basin School District provides elementary, middle, and high school education. Children are met by school buses close to the bridge at Wilderness Ranch's entrance.
